US Military Molle II Large Deployment Bag

Army Deployment Bag

The MOLLE II Large Deployment Bag is the big kit bag the US Army issues for moving a soldier's gear between postings, bases and deployments. MOLLE stands for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment, the Army's load-carrying system, and this bag is the transport piece of it. It unzips and opens flat like a suitcase, so you can pack and find gear without digging through a tall duffel. It suits anyone hauling a lot of kit: soldiers, hunters, campers, range regulars and collectors of issued US gear.

Features

• Genuine US Army Issue — This is government-issued equipment listed under NSN 8415-01-519-5235, the National Stock Number the military uses to catalogue and supply it.
• Clamshell Opening — A long zipper runs around the bag so it opens out flat into two halves, giving full access to everything inside.
• Interior Webbing Straps — Vertical nylon webbing straps are sewn across both inside panels to help hold packed gear in place.
• Twin Carry Handles — Two webbing handles on top let you lift and carry the bag by hand.
• Lower Webbing Loops — Webbing loops along the base give extra grab points for loading, lifting and lashing down.
• Clear ID Window — A clear vinyl pocket on the front holds a name card or packing list where it can be read without opening the bag.
• Tan Military Colorway — The tan nylon matches current-issue US Army field equipment.

Issued By The US Army

This bag was made to US Army specification as part of the MOLLE II system, not as a commercial lookalike. The construction is heavy nylon with webbing reinforcement at the handles and grab points, built for the rough handling of military shipping. Owning issued kit means you get the build standard the Army paid for, along with real provenance for collectors and reenactors.
