Three-Cell Rifle Mag Pouch

This is the US Army's MOLLE II triple magazine pouch in ACU digital camouflage. It carries three rifle magazines side by side on a vest, plate carrier, chest rig or belt, each held under its own snap tab so one can come out without loosening the others. It belongs to the Army's Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment system and was built to mount on the gear soldiers carried with the M4 and M16.

Features

• Three Individual Cells — The body is divided into three side-by-side compartments, each sized for a standard 30-round 5.56mm M4/M16 magazine.
• Snap Retention Tabs — A webbing tab with a press snap closes over each cell, holding the magazine in place while leaving the top easy to grab.
• MOLLE II Mounting Straps — Three vertical straps on the back weave through PALS webbing and lock with a snap at the bottom, so the pouch rides tight and stays put.
• PALS Webbing On Front — Three rows of nylon loops across the face, part of the Pouch Attachment Ladder System, let you stack a smaller pouch on top of this one.
• Cordura Nylon Body — The shell is Cordura, a heavy nylon fabric chosen for its resistance to abrasion and tearing.
• ACU Digital Pattern — Printed in the Universal Camouflage Pattern, the pixelated gray, tan and green scheme the Army wore on its ACU uniforms.
• Drain Grommet — A metal eyelet at the base lets water and grit escape instead of collecting under the magazines.
• Bound Edges — Foliage-green binding tape is stitched around the perimeter to finish the seams and keep the edges from fraying.
• Government Spec Label — The rear carries the original MOLLE II contract label, with NSN 8465-01-525-0598 identifying it as Army-issue equipment.

US Army Issue Gear

MOLLE II replaced the older ALICE clip system with a weave-through strap design, and this pouch fits any vest, rig or pack with standard PALS webbing, military or commercial. Because it was made under government contract to the Army's own specification, the stitching, hardware and fabric follow the same standard as the rest of the issued load-bearing kit. That makes it a sound working pouch for range days and a correct piece for anyone building out an ACU-era loadout.
