I got this for my 11 year old for his upcoming school dress uniform and he loves it. He's tall for his age and is still really short so I didn't want him wearing a giant sized belt that would just get in the way. This was perfect for him, I got the XL but could have gone bigger if needed.

Exactly as advertised. This belt is simple to use and the buckle is rugged. You may have some difficulty fitting the belt over a very wide loop belt, as this belt is narrower than the more modern wider styles of belt. I found that the best solution is to just make the end wider by pulling the fabric together and tying it into a tight knot with the excess fabric to be cut off later. If the excess is trimmed just right, you can then easily melt the edges to hold the knot. This makes a belt just as strong and usable as a modern wider belt, with a more classic look. The only thing to remember is to pull the knot as tight as possible to make it hold, as the buckle is a simple clasp that won't exert as much pressure as a hidden spring style buckle would.

It's not as thick or sturdy as my military issue but it works well and at this price I don't mind if it wears out sooner.
