US Palm AK-47 Pistol Grip - Bakelite Orange

Full-Size AK Pistol Grip

The factory AK grip is small and slim, and many shooters find their hand never settles on it properly. US Palm built this polymer grip larger, with a Westernized profile closer to what AR shooters are used to, so the hand sits higher and steadier behind the trigger. The Bakelite Orange finish matches the reddish-brown look of classic Soviet-era AK furniture, which suits a period-styled build or anyone who prefers it to plain black.

Features

• Polymer Construction — The grip is molded from polymer and weighs about 4 ounces, so it stays light and will not swell or crack the way old wood can.
• Full-Size Westernized Profile — A larger, fuller shape than the standard AK grip gives medium and large hands more to hold on to.
• Ergonomic Palm Swell — A bulge in the grip's backstrap pushes your hand up into the junction of grip and receiver for better control while firing.
• Aggressive Stippling — A deep, raised texture covers both side panels and keeps hold when your hands are wet, sweaty or gloved.
• Ambidextrous Design — The symmetrical shape and texture work equally well for left- and right-handed shooters.
• Bakelite Orange Color — The orange-brown tone recalls the phenolic resin furniture, commonly called Bakelite, fitted to many Soviet-era rifles.
• Multi-Platform Fit — It fits AK-47, AK-74, AKM and PKM rifles that take the standard AK pattern grip.
• Hardware Included — A grip screw and washer come in the package, so you can install it without sourcing extra parts.

Fit And Installation

The grip mounts the same way as the factory part: remove the old grip screw, swap the grip, and tighten the supplied screw and washer through the hollow top into the receiver. The US Palm palm-tree logo is molded into the lower stippling panel. Because the profile is larger than stock, it changes how the rifle sits in the hand. Shooters with very small hands may want to compare it with their current grip first.
