Air Force Survival Pattern

The OKC USGI Air Force Survival Knife is a fixed-blade field knife built to the pattern of the US Air Force aircrew survival knife. It gives you one tool for cutting cord and webbing, notching wood, light chopping and general camp work. Hunters, campers, preppers and collectors of US military pattern knives will recognize the stacked leather grip and sawback blade straight away.

Features

• Clip-Point Blade — The back of the blade dips toward the tip, which keeps the point fine for detail work while leaving the belly full for slicing.
• Sawback Spine — A row of saw teeth along the top edge lets you notch and score wood or cut through tough material.
• Black Coated Finish — The blade and guard carry a non-reflective black finish that cuts glare.
• Stacked Leather Handle — Leather washers are stacked and shaped into grooved rings so the grip fills the hand and holds when your palm is wet or gloved.
• Steel Double Crossguard — A flat guard on both sides of the handle stops your hand sliding onto the edge, and each end is drilled through.
• Hex Steel Pommel — The heavy black pommel at the butt end has flat faces and can be used for hammering.
• Made In USA — The blade is etched with Made in USA on one side and the OKC logo on the other.
• Leather Sheath Included — The riveted, stitched leather sheath has a snap strap over the handle, a snap-flap front pocket and a black metal tip guard.

Sheath And Carry

The sheath is tan leather with white stitching and brass-tone rivets down both edges. A belt slot runs up the back, and punched holes around the throat and tip let you lash it to a pack, harness or leg strap with cord. The retaining strap snaps across the handle below the pommel so the knife stays seated when you run, climb or ride.
