Listed as USAF knife - however,this was also used by US Navy pilots & aircrewBought this as a gift, so have not used it.
Seems comparable to my original issue knife circa 1965, although not identical.

Excellent KnifeGreat for small tasks, such as skinning, whittling and butchering small game. Blade is very sturdy. You can baton the blade into larger pieces of wood to split them. Very versatile and a great addition to your survival/emergency kit.
