Comes completely dull

This would be a deal if it didn't come completely dull from the factory its like they never even attempted to sharpen it you wont be doing any cutting with a tool like this save your money and spend it elsewhere this is a huge waste.
Just like the original

I don't get the love for OKC

First off, I am all for buy American, bit I just font get the love for OKC knifes. This is the third OKC I have tried and they all had terrible QC. I tried the RAT 1 and the blade was not seated correctly and the tip of the knife almost got me. I tried a RAT 3 and the handle had a giant gap on one side. Finally, I tried this one and the guard is loose. I am just not willing to try over and over just to support a company. Not sure what is going on there, but they really need to tighten things up. I don't see how it is more profitable to have an endless stream of returns then just up the quality control a bit.
Like an old friend.

looks like something someone was forced to make.

Having seen these knives over several decades it is a shame that this is where they are now. Poor craftsmanship. Very poor. Grind angle is nearly 90 degrees, Sheath is garbage. I wouldn't want my name on a knife that looks like this.
Avoid as a tool

The edge is not quite straight. I don’t expect that from a made in usa knife. The blade came very dull. The tang is a bit narrow so it may not take abuses pretty well according the way it’s assembled.

To say something good I like the vintage vibe in the package. The sheath is decent.
Nice knife, ships extremely dull

This is a great looking knife, it's stout and looks like it will last a lifetime+. My only complaint is that it's really dull out of the box. It's also sharpened to an angle that exceeds 30 degrees, which makes it difficult to put a razor sharp edge on without re-edging the knife to a more reasonable angle. I'm setting mine to 30 degrees, mostly because that will require the least amount of work on my end. I'd actually prefer 25 degrees, but we'll see how it does at 30. Re-edging it is a lot of work, even with an extra course stone; maybe that speaks well to the quality of the steel. 5 stars minus 1 for the lousy angle. Nice sheath. Buy a quality sharpener with it, you'll need it.
Works great and USA made

Like it has sheet metal to protect sheath
Tough Knife
Review by Morgun O.

Tough knife mine is sharp out of the box, gaurd is tight and stacked leather is sanded good. Only issue is the sheath feels cheap.
