Thin Knit Shooting Glove

The Rothco USMC TS-40 Shooting Gloves are lightweight knit gloves built on the pattern Marines know as the TS-40. They are thin enough to work a trigger, a magazine release or a radio dial without taking them off, and they still put a layer between your hands and cold steel, rough brush or a hot barrel shroud. Shooters, hunters and anyone who needs fingertip feel in cool weather will get regular use from a pair.

Features

• Polyester And Lycra Knit — The blend keeps the glove light and lets it stretch to follow the shape of your hand, so the fabric does not bunch at the knuckles.
• Raised Grip Dots — A dense pattern of raised dots covers the palm and the inside of every finger and the thumb to help you hold a pistol grip, handguard or tool securely.
• Trigger-Finger Dexterity — The thin knit keeps enough feel in the fingertips to find the trigger and manipulate controls with the glove on.
• Ribbed Knit Cuff — A long ribbed cuff hugs the wrist and tucks under a jacket or blouse sleeve to keep out drafts and debris.
• USMC Markings — USMC is printed on the back of the index finger, with a stock-number style marking across the back of the hand, matching the look of issue gloves.
• Olive Green Color — The muted green blends with OD (olive drab) and woodland kit and does not stand out in the field.
• Liner Or Stand-Alone Use — Wear them alone in mild weather or under a heavier shell glove when it turns colder.

Construction And Fit

Each glove is knit as a single close-fitting piece from polyester and Lycra, the stretch fiber that lets it fit snugly without restricting movement. The grip dots sit on the palm side only, so the back of the hand stays smooth and flexible. Rothco is a commercial manufacturer, and this is its version of the TS-40 pattern rather than government-issue surplus.
