Olive Drab Vintage Fatigue Shirt

Shirt jacket is warm. Larger than expected.

When I bought this knife I was looking for one with real chopping power. I wasn't disappointed. It will put a 10" bass boat full of brush to bed in a few swipes and the flat side cut like a buck to my arm. But the finish is slippery. To remedy that I applied gunsmithing bluing compound to the grip and then 600 grit to that and applied some oil. I now have a chopping, whacking knife that grips great and takes abuse. I can chop small trees, whack thicker branches and baton it on down like there is no tomorrow. I just found a spot that the finish was damaged so now I have an even more beaten down version. Just love it. It does need sharpening but not right away. That would be hard on a blade that has taken such abuse. I do have a leather-oiled patch for those that think it is dull and would cry if it were sharp. And as usual the paracord "handle" does double duty as another throw point on a slingshot (for fun in trees or atop cliffs in rocks) If you are looking for something heavy-duty, big and just a lot of knife then this is for you. And be careful. This has the weight to do some real damage if used improperly. But it has done everything I have put it to so far. If your idea of a pocket knife is an aluminum number for light cuts and fidgets, this isn't for you. I was 100% pleased with my Sp10 Rai Der but found that an extended "backspacer" would help with better control. As it is, the grip is adequate but when chopping/battling I tend to get sweaty hands and the end near the pommel tended to slip a bit. It is my EDC when I am working on a task and am not carrying my Gerber folding hawkbill which is better suited for light tasks and concealed under my tac belt (you should see the way some will try to twist your arm for you to pull out your 'tactical'

This a very comfortable fit, shirt looks very cool , this a very nice product, but the pockets where to small , not really deep enough, great shirt, I wear a large but the Large fit me good I'm very pleased with this.

So here it is ... After 3 weeks I have finally received the shirt (no blame to rothco co). The overall look and feel is as good as the pictures shows (very nice fabric, weight, & workmanship) the one minor change rothco had made was the green/white stiching is reversed to keep it on it's original pattern color scheme and to avoid an expensive alteration on their part... a smart business move! Now on to the negitives... It comes small so be aware if you want to wear XL get a size L... Also after reading other reviews I can confirm they are correct about one thing - If you are planning on buying the XL and wash the jacket you are going to be really dissapointed... Not only will the arms and legs be rolled up on your waste line but if you get any more that 10 inches on the sleeves and chest they are going to shrink 1 1/2 inches or so and not only become 2 1/2 inches short they will now roll under when your arms and legs move... I tried every way I could think of to solve this problem but no go, if you wear a jacket all day and plan on washing the shrinkage is pretty significant, in short buy 1 size bigger! Now my only hope is when ordering I can still add my shipping preference to state US Express Mail (2 day priority) but as I mentioned before I have had 3 weeks and the wait is totally unacceptable... This product gets 4 stars for a nice looking well made product and rothco - Co. for trying to keep a good price but you need to hire some customer service personnel and fix your problem of how the company distributes the products to the post office or get your shipping up to the required levels...

My son likes different clothes. Very like to mix style from his teen years in my 70's and 80's when the boys used to be my clothes size in his school clothes style. This style is a fun touch. My boys always had a bit of tummy as kids even in early years but this 2x would have some of the teen tummy if he is growing out. He can button and the length will be great even tho a full grown teen would have tat abs he is very active but with that lump in his torso he can wear these shirts easily even tho it is tight in a great teen size that will fit great. This could fit the fuller teen bodies better as it may seem short but that will look perfect as well for my sons shorter height and frame

Overall, a good quality shirt, however it's not what I was hoping for in regards to it's "wear" from prior use. That said, it's sturdy and fit well, and looks to be made well.

Well constructed

Very good for its price! But a few points: I think some of the reviews that it's like authentic army surplus are a bit much, the material is lighter than authentic gear and the material does stretch out over time, but its thick enough and sturdy enough for a good quality shirt. As others have said its long in the sleeves, not in length, I would say 6'2 is the tallest I would suggest it for, taller and you will need to cuff your sleeves, and maybe for 6'3, 6'4 it will be short in the sleeves. I am about 6'1 and it's not even close to being short. But all in all, I love it, I use it as an extra layer in the winter and just on the warm days. It looks great too, I don't know how they would ever compare it to camo backpacks, they are completely different pieces of gear, not even similar, one looks like a pajama top and the other is a rucksack.

Awesome shirt. But not mil-spec, and made with heavy weight material. Would recommend this for winter/cool spring or fall. I live in the desert, and wear a short sleeve shirt year round, this would not work here.

Great jacket, light but warm. Very good size range, especially for tall people. It's like one of those things that you don't need to think twice about buying because you know it's a good value.

a nice piece

We were having a reenactment at church on Thanksgiving Eve. This shirt worked perfect. Very comfy too.

This has become my go to lightweight, roomy coat. It is warm and the fabric seems well made. The colors and cut look very much like military clothing I've seen and worn. This is not an insulated jacket but that is not its intent. For me it goes over a lightweight fleece jacket. I have found it to be waterproof in the worst of rain and for that I think it an excellent buy. However, there is some sizing that varies by size, not as true to sizing as might be. For instance I normally wear 2xl shirts and sweat shirts and sweaters. This shirt is a true 2xl. I am very happy with it. A shirt that you might think is an xl is not.

The shirt is well made it was very nice and the color was spot on the fit it just a little small, so it might run a little small order a bigger size than you would think you need, but overall the quality of the product is great and it is perfect for Halloween I got it for that but I might even wear it around campus in the spring

Nice shirt. I have 2 other shirts that I have owned that are made from a very stiff material. If you need this for comfort you might not want this shirt. I bought it for my civil air patrol unit to use as camouflage when we have any of our summer hikes and they work great for the situation. If I had to buy it again I would because it fits me perfectly and it works great.

I bought this shirt for my friend and it fits her perfectly. Her measurements are bust 34", waist 27", hips 35". I really love the pattern. Perfect color as well. This is an absolutely great looking shirt. It is exactly as described and we will definitely be ordering more. I really love the material. Its not rough, but not too thin either.

I had several of these shirts and I bought a couple more because of great memories. I was glad to find that these shirts are just as good as the one I wore 30 years ago.

Medium shrunk in the wash perfect. Now my son loves it. It is lightweight and was only recommended to be cold water and gentle wash but once shrunk fit perfectly!

Nice fit, color, this looks exactly like the real army issue BDUs. This has all 8 metal zippers unlike some that have all plastic zippers. Recommend you buy a belt to go with it, would make it complete
