The Rothco Vintage Vietnam War Fatigue Shirt is a reproduction of the jungle fatigue shirt worn by US troops in Vietnam, made new rather than pulled from old stock. It keeps the pattern people recognize: four slanted flap pockets, a concealed button front and long sleeves in olive drab ripstop cotton. Reenactors, collectors filling out a period kit and anyone who wants a hard-wearing field shirt for outdoor work, range days or travel will find it useful.

- 100% Cotton Ripstop — The fabric is woven with a reinforcing grid, visible as a faint square pattern, so a small snag or tear cannot run across the panel.
- Olive Drab Color — Olive drab, often shortened to OD green, is the flat military green used on US field uniforms of the era.
- Four Slanted Pockets — Two chest pockets and two lower pockets sit at an angle, making them easier to reach while wearing load-bearing gear.
- Button-Flap Closures — Each pocket has a buttoned flap to keep contents from falling out when you crouch, climb or move through brush.
- Bellows Lower Pockets — The lower pockets are pleated so they expand outward and hold bulkier items than a flat patch pocket.

Fabric and Fit
All-cotton ripstop breathes in warm weather and layers comfortably over a T-shirt when it turns cool. The cut is loose through the body and sleeves, as on the original jungle fatigues, and the hem is long enough to wear untucked over trousers. Pair it with matching ripstop cargo pants for a full period uniform, or wear it on its own as an everyday overshirt.

Much better than the last oneBought a cheaper fatigue shirt off another site last year and the seams split on the second hike... this one feels like itll outlast me honestly. Fits perfect in large and the OD color is spot on.

Feels Like the Real Thingbought this in olive drab cause my dad wore one in nam and i wanted something close to remember him by. honestly its dang near identical, the rip stop is the right weight and the slant pockets sit just like his old one did. wore it deer scouting last weekend through some thick brush and not a single snag or pull. only nitpick is the buttons feel a little plasticky compared to the originals but they hold tight so cant complain much.
