How to Measure: Measure horizontally from end to end where the belt loops are located for the waist. For the hip width, measure horizontally from cargo side pocket to cargo side pocket. The inseam length can be found by measuring from the crotch down the end of the BDU Pants. Use the chart to find your measurement.
Great reproduction of Vietnam era 3rd pattern ripstop, Vietnam era jungle fatigues (tropical combat uniform)
Correct 1 button back pockets, zipper (not button fly, although they came in both), shoe string cuff ties, size adjustment sliders on each side (the sliders even have to be re-adjusted 50 times a day if your not wearing a belt - just like the originals), the knees and butt are not reinforced (which is period correct) and they even have the secret bandage pocket in the left thigh pocket. The fatigues are even sized overly long (some would say very long) so when bloused at the top of your boot they are very baggy, almost flowy (to break body shape). Incredibly comfortable just like the originals. I would have given them 5 stars for durability, but hey... they're rip stop. Anybody who's worn ripstop in harsh environments has become good at needlework or has a friend who is.
Sizing is not accurate.
Shucks....somewhat disappointed when my medium pants arrived. I've always been an athletic 32x32, 165lbs and the medium fitted me like a tent. Kind of like those clown pants. The material is no where near original ripstop specs I wore when I was active but I understand that nothing stays the same forever but the material is very thin.....had it fit, I would have never worn this out in the field or outdoor type activities. More like casual wear. Sorry.
Pants are exactly as advertised.
The pants are a little bit big, but with a wash, they will fit just right. Very comfortable and just what I was looking for day hikes.
Way too baggy
Material is good for the warmer weather, but they are way too baggy. Felt like I was wearing "Hammer pants".
WAY TOO LONG
I'm 6'2" and these have to be for someone maybe 6'7". 32.5" inseam is what's advertised. These are most definitely not 32.5". Fit fine in the waist but the inseam makes them unwearable. Going back. The pants on the right are Tru Spec 32" inseam. 6" difference.
Not a good value for the cost.
Having worn the real deal for many years, this item is not close to the issued ones. That said there are very light weight, not sure how well they are going to hold up, the zipper is cheap and will probably have to be replaced at some time.
They are a great pair of pants and fit well, I'm looking forward to testing them out in the bush
