Vietnam-Style Ripstop Pants

Rothco's Vintage Vietnam Fatigue Pants follow the cut of the trousers US troops wore in Vietnam and are printed here in woodland camo. They are made from cotton ripstop and garment-washed, so they arrive soft and broken in instead of stiff. Wear them for field work, hunting, camping, reenactment or everyday use if you want a classic military trouser with plenty of pocket space.

• 100% Cotton Ripstop — The fabric is woven with a reinforcing grid of heavier threads, so a small snag or tear cannot spread across the leg.
• Garment-Washed Finish — The pants are washed after sewing, which gives them a soft hand and a faded look from the first wear.
• Woodland Camo Pattern — The four-color print of green, brown, tan and black works well in forest and brush.
• Six-Pocket Layout — Two front pockets, two thigh cargo pockets and two rear pockets give you room for a phone, wallet, maps and small tools.
• Slanted Front Pockets — The angled openings follow the Vietnam-era pattern and are easy to reach whether you are standing or seated.
• Bellows Cargo Pockets — The thigh pockets have pleated sides that expand as you fill them, and button-down flaps keep the contents in place.

Build And Fit

These are new reproduction pants from Rothco, made to the general specification of Vietnam-era fatigue trousers. They are not original issue. The leg is straight and roomy, in keeping with the original design, which leaves space for movement and layering underneath. The all-cotton ripstop breathes well in warm weather, and the garment wash gives the pants a worn-in feel from the first day.
