Winchester XB1200 Super-X Buckshot

Super-X 00 Buckshot

Winchester XB1200 is a 12 gauge, 2-3/4 inch buckshot load from the Super-X line, a name Winchester has used on its ammunition since 1922. Each shell carries nine 00 buck pellets at a listed 1325 feet per second. The box artwork points to its intended game, deer and wild hogs, where a short-range shotgun load that hits hard is the requirement.

Features

• 12 Gauge, 2-3/4 Inch Shell — The standard 12 gauge shell length, which fits shotguns chambered for 2-3/4 inch as well as those chambered for 3 inch.
• 00 Buck Payload — Double-aught buckshot, one of the largest common pellet sizes, is the classic choice for deer and hog at close range.
• Nine Pellets Per Shell — Each round sends nine large lead pellets downrange together, so a single shot puts several projectiles on target.
• 1325 FPS Velocity — The rated muzzle velocity is printed on the box at 1325 feet per second.
• Buffered Payload — A granulated filler packed around the pellets keeps them from deforming against each other when the shell fires.
• Tight Patterns — Round pellets that hold their shape fly truer, which Winchester credits for the load's tight spread.
• Five-Round Box — Packed five shells to a box, with gauge, length, pellet count and shot size printed on the front and end panels for quick identification.

Fit And Compatibility

XB1200 suits any 12 gauge pump, semi-automatic, break-action or single-shot shotgun chambered for 2-3/4 inch shells or longer. Buckshot patterns differ from gun to gun and choke to choke, so pattern it on paper with your own shotgun before taking it into the field. Always check your state's regulations on buckshot for deer and hog.
