The .223 / 5.56 Laser Bore Sighter is a chamber-fit boresighting tool that lets you zero an optic or iron sights without firing a shot. Built in a brass cartridge body sized for .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO rifles, it loads directly into the chamber and projects a Class IIIA red laser downrange so you can align your sights to the bore axis. Saves ammo and gets you on paperUsed this to sight in my AR at 25 yards in the backyard and it took maybe 10 minutes to get on paper. You just chamber it like a regular round and the red laser dot shows up on whatever your pointing at, then adjust your optic to match. The dot was nice and crisp at 25 yards which surprised me honestly. Only thing is the batteries it comes with are kinda cheap so id grab some extras just in case. But for the price this thing paid for itself in ammo savings the first time I used it.

cartridge specific precisionI have tried many different universal bore sighters, and they always fail to get you any where near to perfect. These cal specific laser bore sighters are the only way to go! I like the fact that it sits in the chamber the same way that every round does. Not hanging out the end with some irregular polymer bushing setting the whole thing canted. This is the only way guys! Also works well for 5.45x39mm.

You Need One!!The Brightness on the Laser could be brighter. The directions say to sight in at 25M/25Y. I had to struggle seeing the laser until I moved into a shaded area. But I did find out that the Iron Sights were still OK, but I needed to adjust the Scope. Just remember to remove the batteries when you are done.
