Chamber Laser Bore Sighter
The NcStar 308 Laser Bore Sighter lets you line up a new scope with your rifle's barrel before you fire a shot. Bore sighting is that rough alignment step: it gets your first rounds on paper so you spend less ammunition and range time chasing zero. The sighter is shaped like a cartridge and chambers like one, then projects a laser dot downrange along the line of the bore. It is a good fit for hunters and bolt-gun owners mounting optics on .243 Win, .308 Win or 7mm-08 Rem rifles.

Fit And Use
The .243 Win and 7mm-08 Rem are both necked-down versions of the .308 Win case, which is why one chamber sighter covers all three. Load it, aim the rifle at a target, and adjust your scope's turrets until the reticle sits on the laser dot. Bore sighting gets you close, not zeroed, so confirm and fine-tune with live fire at the range.

Makes zeroing in so much easierBeen hunting for over 20 years and wish I had one of these alot sooner. Dropped it in my .308 and had my scope dialed in real close before I even hit the range. Saved me a ton of ammo honestly. Shipping was fast too, got it in like 3 days which I wasnt expecting.

Quick and easy barrel alignmentGot this in the mail last week and took it to the range yesterday. Thing works exactly as advertised saves me a ton of time dialing in my .308. No more wasting ammo just trying to get on paper. The laser is bright enough to see even in decent daylight.

zero in in no time!308 is exactly cheap anymore! So the fewer rounds spent getting that new glass zeroed in the better. This is the best way to save that precious ammo. I was able to score a glorified 1,000yd ding in fewer than 25rds with newly mounted glass!

Not Done Testing This One YetIf this one works like the 556 Sighter, its going to save me a 'ton' of ammo with getting the new scope on the M1A properly aligned and sighted in. I'll update the review after I get back from the range. If you have a 308, you need to have one of these in your kit so you can double check the sights and scope.
