AMMO Incorporated's Stelth line is subsonic 9mm ammunition loaded specifically for shooting with a suppressor. Subsonic means the bullet travels slower than the speed of sound, so it does not make the sharp supersonic crack that a suppressor cannot muffle. Each box holds 50 rounds topped with a heavy 147 grain bullet, a common choice for quiet range sessions with a suppressed 9mm.

Cartridge and Bullet

It runs in any firearm chambered for standard 9mm, and it works unsuppressed too, though the subsonic velocity is aimed at suppressor owners.
