Stripped AR-15 Lower

This is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver from Anderson Manufacturing. Stripped means it ships as the bare receiver with no trigger, grip, stock or small parts installed. It is the starting point for anyone building an AR-15 from parts, whether that is a first build or another rifle on the bench. You choose every component that goes into it.

Features

• Stripped Receiver — It arrives bare, so you can fit the lower parts kit, grip, buffer tube and stock you prefer.
• AR-15 Pattern — The receiver follows the standard AR-15 layout, so it works with the wide range of AR-15 lower parts and upper receivers on the market.
• .223/5.56mm Marking — The magazine well side is roll-marked for .223 Remington and 5.56mm NATO, the cartridges the AR-15 was built around.
• Safe/Fire Selector Markings — Safe and Fire positions are marked beside the selector hole, which is where the safety lever sits once installed.
• Trigger Guard Mounting Ears — Two lugs under the receiver take a separate trigger guard, so you can fit a standard or enlarged guard.
• Threaded Buffer Tube Ring — The threaded ring at the rear accepts the buffer tube, the receiver extension that holds the recoil spring and carries the stock.
• Pivot And Takedown Pin Holes — The front and rear pin holes join the lower to an AR-15 upper receiver and let the rifle break open for cleaning.
• Black Finish — The receiver has a plain black finish that matches most AR-15 uppers and furniture.

Building And Transfer

Completing this lower takes a lower parts kit, a pistol grip, a buffer tube assembly and a stock, all sold separately. The receiver carries the Anderson markings and a serial number. In the US the serialized lower receiver is legally the firearm, so it must be transferred through a licensed dealer and is subject to the same checks as a complete gun.
