Description
Factory M9A1-22 Magazine
This is Beretta's own 15-round magazine for its .22 LR versions of the M9 service pistol. Those rimfire pistols copy the handling and controls of the centerfire M9 so you can practice with cheaper ammunition. A spare factory magazine means more time on the line and less time reloading between strings.
Features
- .22 Long Rifle Caliber — Built for .22 LR rimfire cartridges, the low-recoil, low-cost round used widely for training and plinking.
- 15-Round Capacity — Holds 15 rounds, so you can run full drills without stopping to reload after a few shots.
- Stainless Steel Body — The bright stainless tube resists corrosion better than plain blued steel.
- Black Polymer Follower — The follower, the part that pushes each cartridge up to the feed lips, is injection-molded polymer.
- Side Loading Button — A button on the follower rides in a slot down the side of the body, so you can pull the spring down with your thumb while you load rounds.
- High-Tensile Steel Spring — A high-tensile steel spring drives the follower and keeps rounds feeding.
- Removable Base Plate — The black polymer base plate comes off, giving access to the spring and follower for cleaning.
- Factory Original — Made by Beretta under part number 519.60 and not a reproduction.
Fit And Construction
The magazine fits the Beretta M9-22, M9A1-22 and 92-22 pistols. It will not work in centerfire 9mm M9 or 92-series pistols, which use a different magazine. Rimfire ammunition leaves more fouling than centerfire, so cleaning matters more here. Taking off the base plate lets you clear out residue and keep the follower moving freely.
