• Chrome-Silicon Spring — The spring is heat-treated chrome-silicon wire, an alloy chosen because it resists losing tension when the magazine is left loaded.
• Zytel Polymer Follower — The follower, the part that pushes cartridges up toward the chamber, is molded from black DuPont Zytel polymer.
• Polymer Base Plate — A molded Zytel floor plate closes the bottom of the magazine and gives your finger a ledge to seat it firmly.

Construction And Fit

ProMag builds this magazine specifically for the Beretta 3032 Tomcat, and the body carries a cutout on the back edge for the pistol's magazine catch. It weighs 0.19 lb, so a spare adds little to what you carry. As with any aftermarket magazine, function-test it with your carry ammunition at the range before relying on it.
