British Cold Weather Cap

This is the British Army's cold weather cap: a short-peaked field cap with fleece-lined ear flaps that drop down to cover the ears, cheeks and the back of the neck when the temperature falls. With the flaps up it sits like an ordinary patrol cap. With them down and fastened under the chin, it seals out wind on exposed ground.
