British Army Cold Weather Fleece Cap

This style of cold weather cap with folding flaps has been combat proven since the first of this style hat was invented. Recognizing a winning design, commercial manufacturers have also produced this style of cap for decades. The ability to either pin the flaps up or wear them down ensures that should the temperature drop and wind pick up, you have the ability to add an extra layer of protection to the sides of your face and chin.

When producing this cold weather cap, the British Ministry of Defense selected MVP material for the outside construction and fleece for the inside lining. MVP fabrics are moisture vapour permeable which allows for a breathable water resistant exterior, very similar to high performance Gore-Tex. The interior fleece lining has been tested both on the combat field as well as extreme arctic and has proven to be a reliable and high performance insulator for cold weather applications. With the exterior of the cap featuring DPM Camouflage, this cap will fit into any area of North America that has fields or woodland.
