Features
- Current French Army Issue — Official issued field knife of the modern French Army, produced by TB Outdoor (Tarrerias-Bonjean) in France.
- Nitrox Stainless Steel Blade — High-carbon Nitrox steel resists corrosion, holds a working edge, and resharpens easily in the field.
- 3.38" Blade / 5.75" Closed — Compact folding profile carries easily in a pocket or on a plate carrier without sacrificing usable cutting length.
- Black Anti-Reflective Finish — Non-glare blade coating keeps the knife discreet during tactical use and adds an extra layer of corrosion protection.
- Tan Sculpted PA6 Handle — Reinforced polyamide scales in military tan deliver a textured, no-slip grip that stands up to heat, solvents, and hard use.
- Integrated Strap Cutter — Recessed hooked cutter slices through seatbelts, paracord, and webbing without exposing the main blade.
- Glass Breaker Pommel — Hardened steel tip at the butt of the handle smashes vehicle glass for emergency egress or rescue work.
- CAC Locking Mechanism — Proprietary bar lock provides rock-solid blade engagement and one-hand operation with the thumb stud.
- Pocket Clip and Lanyard Hole — Reversible pocket clip and rear lanyard hole give you flexible carry options for duty, EDC, or pack stowage.
- Made in France — Manufactured by TB Outdoor to the same specification carried by French soldiers on active deployment.

French military folderBeen wanting one of these for a while and finally pulled the trigger. The CAC S200 is the real issue knife for the french army and you can tell the quality is there. Blade came pretty sharp out the box, shaved some hair off my arm no problem. The tan scales look great and the locking mechanism is rock solid.
Authentic french military issue
Strong lock up with no blade playNo sheath or pouch included

My third CAC knifeBought my first one when I got into European military knives and realized the French had been quietly making solid, affordable blades for decades. Figured it'd be a niche collectible, something for the "oddities" drawer. Already had German, Italian, and British knives, didn't "need" French. Then I discovered they're also perfect for my daily rotation since I got tired of everything looking like a tactical clone, my "travel" knife since it doesn't scream "weapon" to nervous types, as trade bait with other collectors who need French items to round out displays, and honestly just having a knife that opens differently hook catch is fast once you learn it, ambidextrous for opening, just not for the hook. The tan color is distinctive. Construction is solid I've handled dozens of CAC knives over the years, these are consistent with known issue items. The Sandvik is easy to sharpen, holds an edge reasonable time, doesn't chip. Mine have been used hard, carried daily, loaned to people who invariably want one. No issues. The lock is a simple liner, reliable, easy to clean. The scales are textured polymer, not slippery. For the price of a cheap dinner out you get a knife with history and function. Some guys only want the latest supersteel flipper, but this cuts just fine.
Proven over years of actual use
Unique in a sea of samenessNow I want the black version

Quality military knife, multiple useful featuresThis is a legitimately good tactical knife for the price point. The Nitrox steel blade is reliable and the strap cutter and glass breaker are actually useful features. The thumb stud makes opening one-handed really easy and smooth.
Multiple features including strap cutter and glass breaker for versatility
Thumb stud requires practice to use smoothly and consistently

A perfect fit...A high quality execution of a carefully thought out design. It has the feel of quality that results from the use of high grade materials by skilled craftsmen with an impressive attention to detail. I did not need another knife but this one has quickly become one of my favorites.
Excellent design and construction.
I find it difficult to put down.

Super nice!Very nice knife very good quality. I love the very stylish one‑handed opening and closing system you just have to get the hang of it for it to become automatic. The handle is long and very comfortable, even with the belt clip attached (I was a bit skeptical at first, but it works fine). The G10 handle feels pleasant to the touch and makes a good impression. I wanted to be sure because the only TB brand knife I owned before was a Baroudeur with an ABS handle, and that’s not the material .
One‑handed opening/closing system is smooth and becomes automatic with practice.
Long, ergonomic G10 handle stays comfortable even with the belt clip attached. The one‑handed mechanism has a short learning curve; it feels clunky until you master it.
The belt clip adds a slight bulk to the handle, which may be noticeable in tight pockets.
