Exactly what I needed to make my 3 and 5L bottles leak proof. I just removed the end caps on the old bite valves, replaced them with these, then attached the rubber covers over the ends. Perfect.

My only issue with the piece of the valve on my water bottle was I always couldn't get it off without a special key. With this I'm free to drink my water whenever I need it and no more stuck key

Used this on a 17L Camelbak. This would be ideal if the straw is used. When tipped up to full stream, it keeps your drink cold. However, it will make the water bounce up out of the straw and you end up with a lot of water all over your hands. If your going for a 3L or 5L Camelbak you may want to look at other designs that may be more suitable.

These were purchased for my daughter to use at school when they go out for PE, or if they need a refill. It's easy for her to just fill up the water bottle when they go out to recess, rather than running to the water fountain, etc. She uses the camelbacks a lot for trips to amusement parks and events where there are no water sources nearby.
