CCI Quiet-22 is .22 LR target ammunition loaded to a low 710 fps. CCI rates it at 75 percent less perceived noise than standard velocity .22 LR. That suits shooters who want to practice with a bolt-action or single-shot rifle without the usual report, or who are introducing someone new to rimfire shooting. Each box holds 50 rounds.

Rifle Fit And Cycling

Quiet-22 is designed for bolt-action and single-shot .22 LR rifles, where you work the action by hand after every shot. It can be fired in semi-automatic firearms, but CCI warns on the box that the light load may not cycle the action, so you may need to cycle it manually. If you shoot a semi-auto, plan on hand-feeding it as you would a single-shot.
