Harris Bipods

When shooters say “put it on a bipod,” they usually mean a Harris. Built in Barlow, Kentucky since 1979, Harris Engineering bipods set the standard for precision support — spring-return legs, rock-solid lockup, and a lifetime warranty. From the versatile S-25C to the compact LM Series S, they’re the front rest serious rifle shooters trust. Keep Shooting is proud to carry them.
About Harris Bipods
Harris Engineering makes the bipod so many others are measured against. For decades, a “Harris” has been the default answer when a shooter wants a stable, reliable front rest — and the two models we carry are the ones that earned that reputation. You’ll find them in our bipods category.
The company’s roots go back to 1965, when Gerald “Jerry” Harris began building bipods in Detroit after one too many hunts without his shooting sticks. He moved production to his hometown of Barlow, Kentucky in 1975, and formally founded Harris Engineering, Inc. in 1979. Nearly half a century later the company is still in Barlow, still family-rooted, and still made in the USA — refining the same proven design rather than chasing fads, and backing every bipod with a lifetime warranty. Harris was one of the first companies to make a commercially successful bipod, and that head start shows in the fit and finish.
The Harris Ultra-Light S-25C is the do-it-all model: an “S” (swivel) bipod whose legs extend from 13.5″ to 27″, covering prone all the way up to sitting and kneeling positions. The swivel lets you level the rifle on uneven ground, and it clamps to a standard front sling-swivel stud with no gunsmithing. At $166.63, it’s the versatile choice for hunters and precision shooters alike.
The Harris Bipod Model LM Series S is the compact, prone-height option — the same legendary spring-return legs and lockup in a shorter package built for shooting flat off the ground or a bench. At $140.04, it’s the pick when most of your shooting is done prone.
Cross-shopping bipods? The other name we carry is Magpul, whose polymer-and-aluminum QD bipod is a lighter, pan-and-tilt alternative — but for classic all-metal durability and that lifetime warranty, Harris is hard to beat. See both side by side in our bipods category, or browse the full rifle accessories selection. Every Harris bipod ships from Keep Shooting with fast delivery, easy returns, and our satisfaction guarantee.
