Czech Army M85 Overcoat

The M85 is a belted, mid-thigh overcoat issued by the Czech Army, cut long enough to cover the hips and seat over a uniform or a sweater. It is a plain, practical outer layer for cold commutes, field use and wet days, and a period-correct piece for collectors and reenactors building Czech or Czechoslovak army kit. The olive green cotton and polyester shell and simple military lines also wear easily as an everyday coat.

Construction follows the original specification: a yoked back, set-in sleeves, reinforced pocket flaps and a belt sized to the coat. Choose the size you would normally take in an outer coat, keeping in mind that military overcoats are cut with room to layer underneath.
