The East German Interior Ministry Armed Forces Excellence Medal with Ribbon is an authentic award from the former East German Ministry of the Interior. This award was issued to armed forces in the East German Ministry of the Interior for excellent performance of tasks, in particular the strengthening and consolidation of power in East Germany.  These are the last from original East German stocks, and once they are gone, there will be no more!
