The Elite First Aid Patrol Trauma Kit Level 2 is a compact bleeding-control kit for the first minutes after a serious injury, before professional help arrives. It packs a tourniquet, hemostatic gauze, a chest seal and pressure dressings into a black pouch small enough to ride on a belt, plate carrier or pack. Patrol officers, security staff, range users and hikers who want trauma supplies within reach, not buried in a vehicle, are the people it is built for.

• Windlass Tourniquet — A strap-and-rod tourniquet that you tighten by twisting the rod until arterial bleeding from a limb stops.
• QuikClot Combat Gauze — Z-folded hemostatic gauze, treated to speed clotting, that you pack into a deep wound to control heavy bleeding.
• HyFin Occlusive Dressing — An adhesive chest seal from North American Rescue that covers a penetrating chest wound so air cannot be drawn in through it.
• Emergency Pressure Bandage — A high-strength trauma bandage with a built-in pad that applies steady pressure to a wound as you wrap it.
• Conforming Gauze Rolls — Stretch gauze in 4 in x 4.1 yd rolls for securing dressings or adding layers over a wound.

The Pouch And Carry

The black nylon pouch has a stout webbing grab handle on top, so you can rip it free or carry it by hand, and drawstring pulls at the upper corners. Zippers run down both sides of the front panel to give access to the contents, and webbing on the sides lets you mount it to compatible gear. Black blends in with duty belts and most tactical kit, and the pouch is small enough that carrying it every day is realistic.
