EMT American Flag Patch

EMT Split Flag Patch

This United Defense morale patch puts the American flag and the emergency medical emblem on one rectangle, split corner to corner. The upper half carries a full-color US flag. The lower half is black, with a blue Star of Life set over a silver winged caduceus. It suits EMTs, paramedics, combat medics and anyone who wants to mark a medical bag, plate carrier or cap as belonging to the person who treats the wounded.

Features

• Diagonal Split Design — A black stitched line runs from the lower left to the upper right corner and divides the flag from the medical emblem.
• Full-Color US Flag — Red and white stripes and white stars on a blue canton (the star field in the upper corner) fill the upper half in traditional colors.
• Star Of Life Emblem — The blue six-pointed star used to identify emergency medical services, with a white staff and serpent running through its center.
• Winged Caduceus — Silver-gray wings and a staff frame the Star of Life and complete the medical insignia.
• Black Field — The lower half is solid black, so the emblem stands out while the patch sits comfortably on dark gear.
• Fully Embroidered Artwork — Every element is stitched in thread rather than printed, which gives the design raised texture and depth.
• Merrowed Border — A dense black overlock stitch wraps the outer edge to hold the patch together and keep it from fraying.
• Classic Flag Rectangle — The landscape rectangle matches the shape of standard flag patches worn on sleeves, packs and caps.

Build And Wear

The design is embroidered onto a black base and finished with a merrowed black edge, the same construction used on most patches worn on duty and field gear. Its flag-style rectangle sits well on a shoulder panel, the front of a medical pouch, a backpack or a cap. The black lower half and black border keep it from looking out of place on dark uniforms and kit.
