PVC US Flag Patch

This Rothco morale patch puts a full-color American flag on any loop panel, whether that panel is on a pack, a cap, a jacket sleeve or a plate carrier. A morale patch is a removable patch that soldiers and civilians use to personalize their kit, and a flag is the most common one you will see. The patch is molded PVC, a flexible rubber-like plastic that resists water and dirt better than thread, and it measures 3 3/8 x 1 7/8 inches.

Build And Fit

The patch needs a loop field to attach to, which is the soft, fuzzy half of hook-and-loop that many tactical caps, packs, jackets and plate carriers already have sewn on. If your gear has no loop panel, a separate loop backing or adhesive loop strip will give it one. Because the face is PVC rather than fabric, rain and mud rinse off easily, and the colors do not fuzz or fade the way thread can with heavy use.
