The Battle Arms Development Enhanced 9mm Blowback AR Bolt is a drop-in bolt for AR-pattern pistol-caliber carbines chambered in 9x19mm. A blowback action has no gas system. The weight of the bolt and the buffer spring hold the breech closed until pressure drops, so the bolt carries the entire job of cycling. It suits builders putting together a 9mm AR and owners replacing a worn or bargain bolt with a better-made part.
