Great mil surplus findLove the authenticity of this cup. Its actual miliatry surplus so its got some small scuffs and marks on it which I personally dont mind at all. Boiled water in it twice already and works great.

Perfect for the truck toolboxKeep this in my truck for job sites and roadside stops. Boiled water for instant oatmeal on the little propane burner and it handled the heat no problem. Those fold out handles are clutch when the cups hot. I'm impressed for the price, REAL military surplus vibe.

Ordered a second one alreadyGot here fast and packaged real well so I definitely ordered a second one. These aluminum cups are EXACTLY the right shape to nest under my GI canteen and the folding handles lock in place good.

fits the saddlebag perfectBruce here. I ride a lot and wanted something compact for my saddlebag. This showed up two days after I ordered it which was a nice suprise. The box was just a plain brown thing nothing fancy but the cup inside was in great shape. It fits perfect with my US canteen the kidney shape nests right underneath like it was made for it. I boiled water for coffee on a small camp stove and the folding handles didnt get wobbly at all.
Good solid piece of surplus gear for the price.

Solid aluminum alternative to USGI cupI have to say this French Army canteen cup holds its own against the US counterpart. The aluminum construction is notably lighter than the stainless steel USGI version about 2 oz less per cup which matters when you're doing backcountry trips. The butterfly handle is identical in design, and it pairs perfectly with a standard US 1-quart canteen, so there's no compatibility issue like some people worry about. Used condition shows some patina and minor scratches, which honestly adds to the authenticity. Boiled water in it last month at 8,000 feet with no issues.
