Frog Skeleton Morale Patch

Bone Frog PVC Patch

The Frog Skeleton Morale Patch from Mil-Spec Monkey carries the bone frog, a design made as a tribute to Navy SEAL frogmen and the wider combat diver community. It is a morale patch, the kind of unofficial insignia people wear on gear to show an affiliation or sense of humor rather than rank or unit. The sewn hook backing lets you put it on any loop panel and move it whenever you like, so it suits packs, caps, uniforms and tactical gear equally well.

Features

• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is molded from rubber PVC, a flexible plastic that shrugs off rain and mud and wipes clean instead of fraying like thread embroidery.
• Raised 3D Detail — The skeleton stands proud of the background in layered relief, so the bones read clearly from a distance and in low light.
• Hexagon-Textured Field — A fine honeycomb texture covers the dark olive background behind the tan skeleton.
• Inverted Frog Skeleton Design — The full skeleton is shown head down, with spread limbs and splayed toes filling the shield shape.
• Subdued Tan And Olive Colors — Muted earth tones sit comfortably on coyote, OD green and other field-colored gear without looking out of place.
• Raised Tan Border — A molded rim frames the shield outline and gives the edge a finished look.
• Sewn Hook Backing — The rough hook half of a hook-and-loop fastener is stitched to the back, ready to press onto any soft loop panel.
• Compact Size — At roughly 2.8 x 2.9 inches (about 7 x 7.4 cm), it fits standard patch panels on caps, sleeves and pack lids.

Fit And Attachment

This patch attaches to any surface with a loop field, the soft fuzzy side of a hook-and-loop fastener found on most tactical caps, backpacks, uniform sleeves and load-bearing gear. Press it on and it holds; peel it off to swap it for another patch or move it to different kit. If your item has no loop panel, you will need to add one before the patch can be mounted.
