1776 US Flag Morale Patch

Betsy Ross Flag Patch

The Maxpedition 1776 US Flag Morale Patch puts the early 13-star American flag on your gear in molded PVC. A morale patch is a small, swappable patch that soldiers, shooters and outdoor users wear to personalize packs, caps and plate carriers. This one is for anyone who wants a flag patch with a Revolutionary-era design instead of the modern 50-star layout.

Features

• 13-Star Circle Canton — The blue field carries 13 white stars in a ring, the Betsy Ross pattern associated with the original colonies.
• Raised 1776 Script — The year 1776 runs across the lower stripes in a raised, cursive numeral that stands out from the flag behind it.
• Molded PVC Construction — The patch is cast from flexible PVC, a rubber-like plastic that resists water and holds its color better than embroidered thread.
• Dimensional Detail — Stars, stripes and lettering are molded at different heights, so the design reads clearly from a distance and has texture up close.
• Full-Color Finish — Red and white stripes, a navy canton and a gray border give the traditional flag colors.
• Gray Molded Border — A raised gray edge frames the flag and helps it stand out against dark or patterned fabric.
• Maxpedition Logo Mark — A small molded M in the lower corner identifies it as a genuine Maxpedition patch.

Build And Mounting

Maxpedition makes packs and pouches for everyday carry and field use, and its PVC patches are sized and backed to suit the loop panels found on that kind of gear. Hook-and-loop mounting means you can move the patch between a backpack, a cap or a plate carrier in seconds. PVC wipes clean and does not fray at the edges the way stitched patches can after heavy use.
