This Maxpedition morale patch puts a Second Amendment statement on your gear. It shows a silhouette of Charlton Heston holding a long rifle overhead beside the words "From My Cold Dead Hands," the line he made famous. A morale patch is a small, informal patch used to personalize tactical gear, backpacks and bags, and at 1.5 inches square this one fits on a cap, a pouch flap or a pack panel.

Build and Attachment

PVC rubber does not fray the way embroidered thread can, and the raised design keeps its shape on gear that gets handled and packed often. The hook back attaches to the loop panels found on most tactical packs, plate carriers and caps. If your jacket or bag has no loop panel, sew the included loop sheet in place, or skip the hook entirely and stitch the patch straight onto the fabric.
