Original G3 Cocking Lever

This is the cocking lever from the G3 rifle, German Army issue. It is the part you grip to pull the bolt back and charge the rifle. It sits on the left side of the cocking tube, the hollow tube above the barrel that houses the cocking mechanism. G3 owners use it to replace a missing or damaged lever, builders use it to complete a parts kit, and collectors keep it as an authentic piece of German service hardware.
