This is a replacement hammer spring for the HK G3 trigger pack, built to original German military specification. It fits a wide range of HK roller-lock platforms including the G3, HK91, PTR91, HK93, HK33, HK53, and HK21 trigger groups, seating around the hammer spring shank inside the housing. Made from hardened steel, it restores proper hammer tension and cures light primer strikes caused by a fatigued original spring. Does the job, no complaintsPicked this up after my original hammer spring on my PTR91 started feeling a little inconsistent. Dropped it in with no issues, reset feels snappier now and I havent had a single light strike through about 300rds of surplus.

Good to Have Spare PartThey don't really look used these are an excellent value for two hammer springs at less than $2 per spring for a package of two, you may never need one but if you do you'll be glad you have them in case you do.

All Springs Need Backup ReplacementsEspecially the hammer spring if it is held under tension for long periods of time which really is not needed. You do not have to keep a bullet in the chamber to save time, it takes maybe a second to charge the G3 or 91. Still they are springs and are subject to tension fade, they can get shorter over time and in a severe case could break so this is another must have! For the low price you get 2!
