Put it on a Yugo Mauser works great, dam good price colored locking device would have been nice touch but who could complain @ 10 bucks . Works great wrapped around arm to steady shot. Easily adjustable to carry over back or cinched up tight for storage in safe.

Although this sling is very well made and fits a K98, it is more suited for a Yugo M48. It does not have the crosshatch pattern that WW2 German slings had and the adjusting buckle is silver as opposed to the black that the Germans had. If you dye the leather a darker brown and paint the buckle black, it would look decent on a K98 or use it as is on an M48. At the price I have no complaints though.
