Description
The German Navy (Bundsmarine) has made extensive use of this style of deck jacket. Sailors are issued deck jackets to match the environment of the area where their ship is being deployed to. Most receive the traditional dark blue Navy deck jacket, with specialized ships being issued this tropical Coyote tan deck jacket when sailing to tropical or subtropical climates.
We really like the way this German Navy tropical deck jacket looks. When worn with a pair of regular blue jeans, it looks great. Pair it with cargo pants, and it looks great. There seems to be no trousers that do not go well with this jacket. The style and cut of the deck jacket can only be described as a "timeless" style that will never be considered "out-of-style" by society.
Features:
- Authentic German Navy Deck Jacket
- Rare Tropical Coyote Tan Color
- Two ZIppered Chest Pockets
- Two Hand Warming Pockets
- Zippered Front
- German Flag on Shoulders

Aramid cloth blendSmart looking deck jacket that doesn't look too military, well made w/ metal zip hardware and snap cuff on sleeve. Coyote color can go with any trouser in urban jungle or field , aramid blend to help with possible flash over environment a plus. Been wearing a while and holds up well- inner pocket too great value and quality

Good valueI bought one of the blue German deck jackets a while back from KS, so that is my basis for comparison. The coyote version differs in a few minor ways - the material is lightweight/thinner, the hardware is different, it has a patch panel by the front pocket and the epaulets fasten with velcro. The color in the picture isn't 100% accurate, coyote is a little darker (at least mine was). Otherwise it's the same cut/style. Same pockets, snaps on the cuffs and the double zipper thing in the front. It's put together very well, like the blue ones. I'm around 5'10"-5'-11" 180 lbs and size GR 11 fits me well. Condition was very good overall, no stains, etc. just minor wear. One wash and one dose of Febreeze got rid of the usual surplus stank.
