Glock Model 81 Field Knife
The Glock Model 81 is a fixed-blade field knife with a saw-back spine, built for camp chores, cutting cord and webbing, and light work on wood. It is the saw-back version of Glock's field knife, with a row of teeth along the top edge for notching and sawing. Grey polymer covers the handle and sheath, and the blade carries a black finish. It suits anyone who wants a plain, hard-use belt knife for the field, the range bag or the vehicle.

Build And Sheath
The construction is simple: a steel blade, a molded polymer handle with the Glock logo, and a steel guard. The sheath is molded from the same grey polymer, and its clip swings out to slide over a belt or strap. The tip of the sheath has a lug with a hole, which you can use to tie the bottom down to your leg or gear so it does not swing. The knife ships with its sheath.

Tough knifeTook this camping last weekend and it handled everything i threw at it, batoned some kindling, carved feather sticks, even used the sawback to cut through a decent sized branch and honestly the saw teeth worked way better then i expected, they dont clog up like i thought they would. The handle is the same polymer they use on their pistol frames so it feels solid in your hand and i had zero worries about it slipping when it got wet.

My husband loves this thingGot this as a birthday gift for my husband who goes hunting every fall and he hasnt put it down since. He said the blade came sharp enough right out of the box for field use and he used it for everything from cutting cordage to processing camp food on his last trip. The sheath has a little lanyard loop at the bottom which he runs paracord through to tie it down to his leg when hes moving through thick brush which is a nice touch we didnt even know about when we bought it.

Does Its JobBeen carrying this thing on every camping trip for the past few months and honestly its one of the better knives ive bought at this price point. The sawback on the spine actually WORKS which surprised me, used it to cut through some small branches and roots when setting up camp and it did fine, way better than i expected. Only thing ill say is the handle could use a little more texture when your hands get wet or sweaty but its not a dealbreaker at all. Overall super happy with this buy.
