Genuine Glock Firing Pin

This is Glock's own firing pin for its large-frame 10mm and .45 ACP pistols, sold under factory part number SP04557. The firing pin, which Glock owners often call the striker, is the part that drives forward and hits the cartridge primer to fire the round. Keep one on hand to replace a worn or damaged pin, to rebuild a slide, or as a spare for a pistol you rely on.

Fit and Compatibility

Check that your pistol is a G20, G21, G29, G30 or G36 from Gen 1 to Gen 4 before ordering; Gen 5 pistols are not on the compatibility list for this part. Because it is a factory component, it drops into the striker assembly the same way the original did, with no fitting or modification. If you have not stripped a Glock striker assembly before, follow Glock's armorer procedure or have a qualified gunsmith install it.
