A threaded barrel leaves exposed threads at the muzzle whenever a suppressor or muzzle device isn't mounted, and those threads are easy to ding, foul with grit or snag on a holster. The Backup Tactical Hash Thread Protector is a cap that screws over them so they stay clean and undamaged until you need them. It suits shooters who run a threaded barrel but don't always have something attached to it.

Fit and Compatibility

A thread protector only fits a barrel with the same thread pitch, which is the size and spacing of the threads, usually stamped on the barrel or listed by its maker. Confirm your barrel's thread pitch before ordering. Remove the protector before installing a suppressor, compensator or other muzzle device.
