A threaded barrel looks finished with a suppressor or compensator on it, but most of the time the muzzle threads sit bare, where a knock on a bench or range bag can dent them. This Backup Tactical thread protector screws onto 1/2x28 barrel threads and covers them when nothing else is mounted. It is machined to look like a miniature revolver cylinder, so it also changes how the front of a 9mm or .22LR pistol looks.
