870 Stock and Forend Set

This Hogue kit replaces the factory buttstock and forend on a 12 gauge Remington 870 pump shotgun with a matched pair of rubber-overmolded parts. Hogue designed it for shooters who want a grip that stays put in rain, sweat or cold, and a buttpad that takes some of the sting out of heavy loads. It works on home-defense guns, duty shotguns and field or clay guns alike.

• Ambidextrous Palm Swell — A rounded bulge on both sides of the grip fills the hand, so left- and right-handed shooters get the same fit.
• Recoil-Cushioning Buttpad — A soft rubber pad at the rear of the stock absorbs part of each shot's recoil before it reaches your shoulder.
• 12-Inch Length of Pull — The distance from trigger to buttpad is 12 inches, shorter than a typical factory 870 stock, which helps smaller-framed shooters or anyone mounting the gun over body armor or heavy clothing.
• Sling Swivel Studs — Swivel studs, the small posts that quick-detach sling swivels clip onto, are included along with the mounting hardware.
• Weatherproof Black Finish — The black synthetic surface will not swell, crack or absorb moisture like a wood stock.

Construction and Fit

Hogue molds the rubber directly onto the reinforced polymer core, so grip and frame become a single part with no seams to collect grit. The stock bolts into the 870 receiver in place of the factory one, and the forend replaces the original on the action slide. Mounting hardware and swivel studs come in the box.
