Holy Bible King James Version

US Army KJV Bible

This is a King James Version Holy Bible from US Army stock, bound in a lightweight softcover. It gives service members, veterans and their families a familiar scripture text that is easy to carry in a ruck, footlocker or vehicle. Collectors of issued military items will also want it for its Army provenance.

Features

• King James Version Text — The English translation first published in 1611, known for its formal, traditional wording and still the version many readers grew up with.
• Old And New Testaments — The full Holy Bible is contained in one volume, so you have the complete scripture text in hand.
• Softcover Binding — A flexible paper cover keeps the book lighter and slimmer than a hardbound edition for packing and travel.
• Green Marble Cover — The front cover carries a deep green marble pattern that is easy to recognize on a shelf or in a bag.
• Silver Foil Lettering — The title and the words King James Version are printed in metallic silver foil across the front.
• Mint Green Header Band — A pale green banner across the top of the cover reads Traditionally Loved and Accepted.
• US Army Provenance — This copy comes from US Army stock, which gives it added interest for veterans and collectors of issued military items.

Issued Army Stock

Bibles like this one have long been part of what the US Army keeps on hand for soldiers. The KJV is the text many troops already know from home, and the softcover format was chosen for carrying rather than for display. It belongs in a military collection as an authentic piece of Army stock, and it is equally at home on a nightstand for daily reading.
