New American Bible

Compact Catholic Bible

This is the New American Bible in the St. Joseph Personal Size Edition, a compact Catholic Bible for daily reading and study away from a desk or pew. The personal-size format is smaller than a standard family or study Bible, so it is easier to carry in a bag, keep at a bedside, or take on the road. It suits readers who want the familiar Catholic translation in a book they will actually carry.

Features

• New American Bible Translation — An English translation prepared under the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine for Catholic readers in the United States.
• Full Catholic Canon — Contains the Old and New Testaments, including the deuterocanonical books, the Old Testament books that Catholic Bibles include and many Protestant editions leave out.
• St. Joseph Personal Size Edition — A compact format meant for personal reading and carrying, as marked on the gold label on the front cover.
• Catholic Book Publishing — Issued by the publisher behind the long-running St. Joseph line of Bibles and prayer books.
• Photographic Cover — The front shows a rocky shoreline and open water under the title in black lettering.
