Description
Israeli Issue UZI Mag
This 25-round magazine was made by IMI (Israel Military Industries) for the UZI, the 9x19mm submachine gun that became standard issue in the Israeli Army. It is government-issue kit rather than an aftermarket copy, so the fit and feed geometry match what the rifle was designed around. Owners use it to run their UZI, and collectors and reenactors want it for its provenance.
Features
- 25-Round Capacity — The magazine holds twenty-five 9x19mm cartridges in a double-stack column.
- Witness Holes At 10, 15, 20, 25 — Numbered viewing slots down the side let you see how many rounds are loaded without emptying the magazine.
- Steel Body — The body is formed from steel with a gray finish, the material IMI used for issued UZI magazines.
- Magazine Catch Slot — A cut-out on the spine engages the UZI's magazine catch to lock the magazine in the grip.
- Reinforcing Dimples — Two pressed dimples near the base stiffen the lower body.
- Removable Floorplate — The base slides off for cleaning and inspection of the spring and follower.
- IMI Manufacture — Made by Israel Military Industries, the state arsenal that built the UZI.
- Genuine Israeli Army Issue — This is originally issued government gear with real service provenance.
Fit and Provenance
The magazine is built for the UZI platform, where it seats through the pistol grip. Before you buy, check that your firearm takes standard UZI magazines. An IMI-made magazine from Israeli Army stock comes from the arsenal that produced the gun, which gives it more weight with collectors and anyone building a correct period kit than a commercial copy.
