Lansky PREP Survival Kit

Grab-And-Go Survival Kit

The Lansky PREP Survival Kit puts water, fire, light, first aid and cutting tools into one zippered pouch. It is built for the moment you need basic survival gear and have no time to gather it piece by piece. Keep it in a vehicle, a go-bag or a hunting pack, or give it to someone who is starting an emergency kit from nothing.

Features

• LifeStraw Water Filter — A LifeStraw personal filter lets you drink straight from a stream or pond by sipping through the tube.
• Collapsible Water Bottle — A flexible Lansky-branded bottle with a clip and spout carries water and rolls flat when empty.
• Ferro Rod Fire Starter — A ferrocerium rod, a metal rod that throws hot sparks when scraped, comes with a striker on a ball chain so the two stay together.
• Folding Knife And Multi-Tool — A folding knife with a green handle handles cutting, and a pliers-based multi-tool adds the extra blades and drivers for repairs.
• Lansky Pocket Sharpener — A compact Lansky sharpener with a fold-out tapered rod keeps the knife edge working in the field, including on serrations.
• First Aid Pouch — A red zip pouch with a lanyard holds the first aid supplies and is easy to spot inside the main bag.
• LED Flashlight — A black handheld flashlight with a wrist lanyard covers light after dark.
• Paracord Bracelet — An OD green paracord bracelet, OD meaning olive drab, carries several feet of strong cord that you can unwind for lashing, shelter building or repairs.
• Fishing Kit And Rescue Blanket — Hooks, swivels, sinkers and line cover basic fishing, and a silver emergency rescue blanket reflects body heat back to you.
• Survival Instructions Booklet — A printed P.R.E.P. survival instructions booklet comes in the pouch so the guidance is there when there's no signal.

The Carry Pouch

Everything packs into a black zippered pouch with the Lansky Sharpeners P.R.E.P. logo on the front and an external sleeve on the side for an item you want to grab without opening the bag. The kit combines Lansky's own gear, including the sharpener, bottle and first aid pouch, with a LifeStraw filter. You get one bag that covers the basics and is ready as soon as it arrives.
