M4 Six-Position Stock Kit

The LBE Unlimited Complete Mil-Spec M4 6-Position Stock Kit includes every part needed to fit a collapsible M4-style stock to an AR-15 lower receiver. It suits builders finishing a lower from scratch and owners replacing a worn or mismatched rear assembly. Because the stock, buffer tube and internals come together, the parts are already matched and you don't need to source them one at a time.

Features

• Collapsible M4-Style Stock — The black polymer stock slides along the buffer tube, and a lever underneath releases it so you can set length of pull, the distance from trigger to shoulder.
• Six-Position Buffer Tube — A row of six detent holes along the underside of the tube gives six locking positions for the stock.
• Mil-Spec Sizing — Mil-spec here means the buffer tube is built to the military's diameter standard, so it accepts mil-spec stocks and not the slightly larger commercial-pattern ones.
• Carbine Buffer Included — The buffer is a weighted plunger that sits inside the tube and, together with the spring, slows the bolt carrier as it cycles rearward.
• Buffer Spring Included — The action spring returns the bolt carrier forward after each shot and chambers the next round.
• Castle Nut — This notched, threaded ring screws onto the tube and locks it against the lower receiver.
• Receiver End Plate — The plate sits between the castle nut and the receiver and holds the takedown pin detent and spring in place.
• Sling Loop At The Toe — A steel loop at the bottom rear of the stock takes a standard sling.

Kit Contents and Fit

The kit includes the six-position stock, a threaded buffer tube, carbine buffer, buffer spring, castle nut and end plate. It is laid out for the AR-15 and M4 carbine-length system, the most common rear configuration on these rifles. If you are fitting it to a stripped lower, have an armorer's wrench on hand to tighten the castle nut.
