The Rothco M-51 Fishtail Parka is a modern reproduction of the parka the US Army issued in 1951, made here in solid black. It is a long, hooded cold-weather shell with a removable quilted liner, so you can wear it as a lighter outer layer in wet, windy weather or button the liner in when the temperature drops. It suits everyday winter wear, outdoor work and anyone who wants the classic fishtail cut without hunting down original issue.

Features

Shell, Liner And Hardware

Rothco builds this parka from a cotton shell with a quilted polyester liner that attaches with buttons along the inside of the front placket. The brass zipper and snap closures follow the layout of the 1951 original, and the parka falls to roughly knee length on the wearer shown. It is a commercial reproduction, not military surplus, so it arrives new.
