Navy N-3B Snorkel Parka

The Rothco N-3B is a reproduction of the military-style extreme cold weather parka, built for days when an ordinary winter coat stops working. Its snorkel hood zips up past the chin and leaves a fur-trimmed tunnel to look through, which keeps wind and snow off your face. The hip-length cut covers more of the body than a waist jacket, and the navy blue shell works as well on a city commute as it does on a job site or a winter hunt.

• Water-Repellent Nylon Shell — The 100% nylon outer has a water-repellent finish that sheds snow and light rain before it can soak in.
• Snorkel Hood With Faux Fur Trim — The hood closes into a tunnel around the face, and the faux coyote fur ruff breaks up wind at the opening.
• Adjustable Hood Fit — A drawstring at the face and a buckled tab at the back of the hood let you snug it down around your head.
• Zipper With Storm Flap — A brass front zipper sits under a full-length storm flap, a fabric panel that blocks wind through the zipper teeth, secured by four buttons.
• Inset Knit Cuffs — Knit cuffs set inside the sleeves seal the wrists so cold air cannot run up your arms.

Construction And Materials

The shell is 100% nylon and the lining is 100% polyester, with a plush pile lining inside the hood and collar. The cut is roomy enough to layer a sweater or fleece underneath without the shoulders binding. Brass hardware, snap-down pockets and reinforced pocket corners follow the original military pattern closely.
