The MA-1 is the short, insulated bomber jacket first built for fighter pilots, and Rothco's version keeps the layout that made it a classic. A smooth nylon shell over poly fiberfill gives you a warm, wind-cutting layer for cold commutes, range days and everyday wear. This one comes in gun metal grey, a darker, cooler alternative to the usual sage green or black, with silver-tone zippers to match.

Construction and Fit

Rothco builds this jacket from a nylon shell and lining with poly fiberfill in between, quilted along the front placket and finished with knit trim. The cut follows the traditional MA-1 shape: roomy through the body and sleeves, cropped at the waist and gathered at the cuffs, so it layers easily over a hoodie or sweater. It is a commercial reproduction of the military pattern, not issued surplus.
