Woodland MA-1 Flight Jacket

The MA-1 is the short, insulated bomber jacket originally designed for US Air Force aircrew. Rothco builds this version with a water-repellent nylon shell over poly fiberfill and prints it in woodland camo, the green, brown, tan and black pattern long associated with US forces. It handles cold days, light rain and snow, and works as an everyday winter jacket or as a layer for time outdoors.

• Zippered Sleeve Utility Pocket — The left sleeve carries a zip pocket with pen slots stitched on the outside.
• Flapped Front Pockets — Two front slash pockets close with a flap and snap to keep contents in place.
• Inside Slash Pockets — Two interior pockets with snap closures hold a phone or wallet behind the shell.
• Front Zip With Storm Flap — A full-length metal zipper with a leather pull tab sits over an inner storm flap that blocks wind coming through the zip.
• High-Waist Cut — The jacket ends at the waist, in keeping with the original flight jacket pattern designed for seated aircrew.

Shell, Lining And Fill

Rothco pairs a 100% nylon outer shell with poly fiberfill insulation and a polyester lining in rescue orange. The cut follows the classic MA-1 layout: a short body that finishes at the ribbed waistband, a roomy chest and sleeves, and a sleeve pocket on the left arm. Because the lining is reversible, you get two looks from one jacket, camo for daily wear or high-visibility orange when being seen matters.
